r/Advertising School Assignment: Rebranding
Choose a brand you hate, and rebuild it so you love it.

Whenever I see a Subway, I feel less hungry. Their sandwiches are unappetizing. The ingredients taste bland. They get mushy. In fact, they might just be the last thing I want to eat. And don't even get me started on that "Subway smell," a mix of pickled banana peppers and sterility.

The entire Subway brand feels cluttered and outdated. I mean, they put coupons on their IG posts!

So what would make me want to eat a Subway sandwich? If they used local, actually fresh, and organic ingredients that tasted good. This copy-centric print campaign highlights the provenance of local ingredients. "Taste what's different at Subway." The key is simplicity. Let the better, fresher ingredients speak for themselves.
